Luyan Yao, MD, is a Senior Clinical Terminologist at IMO. Since joining the company in 2017, she has contributed to the curation and validation of clinical content and the development of clinical value sets. Luyan earned her MD in China and spent five years there as an oncologist dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes in the field of cancer treatment. In 2017, she earned her Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of San Francisco and has since pursued her passion for leveraging data and technology to enhance healthcare delivery. In her free time, Luyan enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and hiking.
