Dr. Surabhi Datta is a Senior NLP Scientist with a wealth of expertise pioneering novel NLP methodologies for extracting insights from unstructured biomedical and clinical data. With a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, Surabhi’s research focused on extracting spatial information from radiology reports. She was also a Doctoral Fellow in the UTHealth CPRIT BIG-TCR Training Program. Surabhi currently leads transformative NLP modeling projects catering to leading biotech companies. Her current mission is centered around leveraging state-of-the-art deep learning-based NLP techniques for various clinical applications including extracting important clinical information from EHR notes and clinical trial analysis.
