Patryk Orzechowski, PhD

Dr. Patryk Orzechowski, a Staff Data Scientist in Life Sciences AI, is an AI/ML Researcher and a Data Scientist with extensive expertise in data mining and benchmarking. His work focuses on developing innovative algorithms, tools, and pipelines. This work drives advancements in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and clinical and medical informatics by enhancing performance, scalability, and interpretability. He co-authored a leading pattern discovery method for genomics (EBIC) and popular machine learning benchmarks (PMLB, srbench). Dr. Orzechowski earned his PhD in Computer Science from AGH University in Krakow, Poland. Prior to IMO Health, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in AI, a Senior Data Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Staff Data Scientist at Valo Health.
