Kristin Nelson is a Staff Mapping Analyst at IMO. She joined the company in 2022 after deciding to make a career shift from teaching college students. At IMO Kristin is responsible for mapping terms to codes and has recently become a key member of IMO’s NLP pipeline cross-functional team. She obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Science from The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. In her free time, Kristin enjoys her involvement with the Ohio Health Information Management Association and the Central Ohio Healthcare Financial Management Association, working out, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
