Dr. Dan Rubin had a background in computer science and engineering prior to medical school. He practiced Pediatrics and Urgent Care medicine for several years before obtaining an advanced degree in Health Informatics. Prior to IMO, he worked as a Medical Director for an insurance plan, in clinical content leadership, and in systems-based healthcare quality improvement. He joined IMO in 2016 to work on clinical content development, UI design, value sets, data normalization, and SNOMED® and RxNorm® mapping. Dr. Rubin is board certified in Pediatrics and Clinical Informatics.
